Paladins who swear the Oath of the Sacred Hunt become divine hunters, tasked with delivering judgment upon those who attempt to escape justice. They are relentless trackers, implacable foes, and divine executioners who pursue their targets with supernatural precision.
The magic of your oath ensures you always have certain spells ready; when you reach a Paladin level specified in the Oath of Sacred Hunt Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.
Oath of Sacred Hunt Spells
| Paladin Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 3 | Hunter's Mark, Guiding Bolt |
| 5 | Misty Step, Locate Object |
| 9 | Haste, Bestow Curse |
| 13 | Freedom of Movement, Phantasmal Killer |
| 17 | Steel Wind Strike, Geas |
As a Bonus Action, you can expend one use of your Channel Divinity to expose hidden enemies around you.
All hostile creatures within 30 feet of you lose the Invisible condition and glow with divine radiance, emitting a 5-foot Emanation of Dim Light until the end of your next turn.
Your divine judgment now reaches far new distances. You can cast Divine Smite on a ranged weapon attack you make (not only melee weapon attack), provided you are within 30 feet of your target. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus and regain all uses after finishing a Short or Long Rest.
Your divine aura sharpens your focus, allowing you to extend your Smite spells even further. While a hostile creature is within your Aura of Protection, you can use Extended Smite for any Smite spell you cast, rather than only Divine Smite.
Your ranged attacks carry divine punishment. When you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack, you can add an extra 1d6 damage of the same type as the weapon’s damage.
Additionally, when you hit a creature with a melee weapon, unarmed strike, or ranged weapon attack, you can choose to deal Radiant damage instead of its normal damage type.
